Admission Procedures ( ESL: F1/Non F1)
1. Complete the
application form.
Enrollment may begin
at anytime during the academic year.
2. Submit your
completed application with an initial payment of 1,100 for one session
tuition, and a 200 non-refundable application fee (outside U.S.: 250). These amounts are not
including SEVIS application for F1.
3. F1 only: Upon
receipt of your application and payment, we will create your student
identification number and issue you an I-20 form..
A. Initial Entry Students (F1). Take the
I-20 issued by GLI to the Embassy or Consulate in your country. We
recommend that you research local fees, schedules and required
documentation, as well as ensure which office processes student visas*,
before you go to the Embassy or Consulate.
In this case, a student should make a
payment of 4,400 for four session tuition.
B. Transfer Students (F1). Your new I-20
issue by GLI replaces the I-20 issued by your old school. You have 15
days, after you begin at GLI, to complete the student section of the new
I-20.
C. Change/Reinstatement of Status within
the US
(F1). We recommend that all changes or reinstatements be accomplished by
an attorney. Contact the Admissions Office for a list of attorneys and
for more information or procedures on change/reinstatement of status.
*If your visa is
denied, GLI will refund your tuition followed by the GLI's policy. See
policy book.
